General meeting

  1. Meeting opened 7:05pm

  8. Roy Hookway Platform. Lucy Bromell presented a proposal for a stone bench/water fountain.
    See MOTION: The AshfieldCAN put aside $8000 towards the stone bench Project. Moved: Bill
    Busby, seconded: Bob Brown
  9. Everlastings
    Everlasting have been given to residents, planted at the Sports Club, Planted at Gary Blanch
    Reserve and given to Community Centre. Lucy to provide more seeds to Graeme Haggart for the
    community Centre. We have had good rains so let’s hope they grow!
  10. Trailer It appears the axel is bent on the trailer so needs new axel assembly and two new tyres.
    Bob Brown suggests sourcing a new or a second hand one. Bob to researchEverlastings

  11. Gary Blanch Reserve
    Gary Blanch Reserve – A committee is to design a set of signs to encourage public interest in the
    park. Lucy to organise a meeting and time in early July.
  12. General Business

    Trees on Ashfield Parade. Bob brown was going to speak to Jeremy Walker.

    Graeme Haggart said draft budget considerations – the Colstoun Road entry statement was still
    in the draft budget and this would mean if it goes ahead that the TOB would install the wall and
    fence but the would be looking to the AshfieldCAn to help with installation of the gardens etc.

    Dogs breakfast noted for 14th October.
